Very poor customer support

"I have 7 St Croix rods and for the most part am satisfied with the product but they are expensive and they tout their warranty. 5 weeks ago my rod tip broke landing a crappie. I have contacted them 5 times now and submitted the warranty claim 4 times and paid their ridiculously high $60 shipping charge for the replacement and still haven’t received a new rod!"

"My order arrived damaged. When i recieved the item the box was damaged and the pole was snapped in half. I would suggest a reinforced package for better shipping. Still waiting to hear back from the company on a replacement or what to do now."
