Rod tip was broken in shipping.

"When I unpacked the rod and the rod still in the plastic about 1 1/2" of the rod tip was broken off and dangling by a small part of the rod fiber. I tried filling out the warranty replacement online and it said my rod warranty has expired for this model ? I broke the rod as instructed and took pictures but now I need ST. Croix to instruct me what to do next to get this replaced. Thank you"

I first want to thank

"I first want to thank your staff for a broken tip warranty claim, handled with excellent customer service. Your free reel offer caught my eye, the more I looked at the rayfin the more I had to own one! I have many st Croix rods legend elite, my favorite line. I must say, this is one of the finest rods I’ve ever held. Can’t wait to go fishin’"

The rod surpassed my expectations.

"The rod surpassed my expectations. I own several legend series rods and the Rayfin seems to be better. I will be buying them again"
