Although I typically refrain from writing reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience with St. Croix. I was searching for a casting reel online and discovered this website. The price was significantly lower than other websites, so I decided to purchase it. However, the shipping address provided was incorrect. Fortunately, I have a friend employed by UPS, and I provided him with the tracking number. He promptly delivered the reel to me. Upon opening the package, I noticed that the reel was only wrapped in bubble wrap, without a box, manual, or guarantee paper. I attempted to initiate a return, but the company charged a $25 shipping fee. It appears that I may have to accept the situation and hope that the reel is not damaged. Is it possible that St. Croix is selling used reels without informing customers? This will be my first and last purchase from St. Croix, even though it is significantly cheaper than other websites.
